Founded in 2007 by Gosia Piatek, the brand Kowtow is a conscious label with a minimalistic effortless aesthetic, strong design philosophy, and innate sense of comfort; inspired by Gosia’s interests in art, culture, and travel.

The workers crafting these unique and stylish pieces reside in India, at fair trade certified organic cotton farms in Orissa and at manufacturers in Mumbai and Kolkata, which Kowtow visits regularly. Each garment is produced with complete transparency and traceability throughout the entire supply chain, recognizing the craftsmanship and hands involved in its making.
Collections are made entirely with sustainably and ethically sourced materials, with ethical and sustainable values. All garments are certified by non-profit internationally recognized organizations, designed in-house: color, weave, prints, stripes and checks, and can take up to 12 months to be designed and ready for production.
